What is SOGIESC? What does the acronym LGBTIQ+ mean?
SOGIESC includes people's sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and/or sex characteristics that place them outside socioculturally normative categories.
LGBTIQ+ stands for lesbians, gays, bissexual, transsexual, intersexual, queer people, and others. This group is not universal or static, and continues to evolve overtime.
